And so I bought the Bobbles.....

......Bobbleheads that is....together on one base representing my bosses, Dan and Brian. I bought them because we don't get to work together much anymore and I really miss seeing them every day.  Corny?  Perhaps.  But when you like working with certain people and become close with them, not seeing them on a regular basis can be a let down.

Back to the Bobbles (as I call them).....For about a year they stayed in their original box as my home office was jammed packed with no spare room for them to be on display.  Recently I was able to make room for them on my desk and they've become part of the daily routine here.  I frequently ask their opinions and bobble their heads so I get a reply......and I move them around periodically so they can get some sun and see what I'm working on.  Crazy?  Perhaps.  But when you work at home alone all day, you need to lighten things up a bit and have a little fun.

Even my boys are giving attention to the Bobbles.  SBJ came into my office one day and said "Hi Dan, Hi Brian" to the Bobbles.  I said to him, "Ask them...isn't Robbin their greatest employee ever?"

He proceeded to flick Bobble Dan's cheek which then forced its head to bash into Bobble Brian's cheek and their heads moved side to side (no) rather than up and down (yes).   Smart a-- kid.

Bill came into my office one day and said, "Why is Brian's bobble smiling and relaxed looking?"  James said, “Because Dan's bobble is not."  Hysterical....but true.  I'm thinking I need to give Bobble Brian a bottle of Corona and a beach towel.  Bobble Dan will get a laptop and briefcase.
