And so I was challenged late in 2014....

.... to identify and share 3 things (via Facebook) that I'm thankful for over the course of 5 days.

Day 1: I am most thankful for:
1: My Sweet Baby James Fischer-by far the light of my life and my reason for living
2: My hubby Mr. Bill Fischer who keeps me constantly laughing, annoyed and turned on after all these years
3: My mommy. We've come a long way and finally are in a good place

Day 2: I am most thankful for:
1: Friends - old, new, near and far I love you all
2: My bosses (The Dan and Brian Show) and their families - by far some of the smartest, funniest and most generous people I know.  I am honored to know them and they have blessed my life with friendship and wonderful opportunities
3: My job - even the bad days are full of challenges that enable me to continue learning.  I work with the brightest and most diverse group of folks and love the friendships I've made along the way

Day 3: I am most thankful for:
1:  Extended Family, Mr. Bill's family, my Quad Cities relatives - I know I have safe havens out there when I need them (putting everyone on notice that I might show up on your doorstep someday)
2:  My education - never underestimate the power of an English major who started work in accounting and ended up in IT
3.  Music - One Tree Hill Quote, "I want someone who can explain to the audience why one song can instantly change Peyton’s mood."  Willie Nelson, "...the life I love is makin' music with my friends."

Day 4: I am most thankful for:
1: Books - my love of reading is not a secret, but I must have a "real" book in my hands to be satisfied. Being transported into another world and others' lives is key, but I need to do it the old fashioned way. I'm trying to figure out if I have more books than iTunes library songs...might be a toss up
2: Seasons - as much as I complain about the hot summers and long winters, I truly love the change of seasons we have in Wisconsin. Sometimes I'm sure Mother Nature is off her medication, but I enjoy all that she has to bring
3: Technology - my parents both worked in some aspect of IT. They forced me to take computer classes in high school (punch cards oh my!) and college. My SBJ had his own computer before he was out of pre-school. I could not live without my laptop or my iPhone (or Netflix, Hulu, PrimeWire, etc.)

Day 5: I am most thankful for:
1: Those that serve/have served to protect our country
2: Teachers - they are the unsung heroes
3: My life - it's been a great ride thus far..never dull
